IV. Find a weight loss method that suits you

(I) Five conditions for an ideal weight loss method

Up to this point, I have introduced several incorrect and harmful weight loss methods, and I believe you have gained some understanding. Now I want to talk about the conditions for an ideal weight loss method. You might want to think back: among the methods you've tried before, to what extent were they satisfactory? Thinking about this will definitely help you when making choices again.

Beautiful salty fat method

Many women sacrifice their health for beauty. After strenuous efforts, they achieve their goal of losing weight, but end up looking haggard and their weight loss is uneven. They are even told by others, "You look better if you're a little chubby." Isn't this a losing proposition?

If you lose weight and people compliment you, saying, "Wow! You look younger and prettier!" then that's what weight loss exercise is all about.

Lose weight healthily

If you experience any abnormal reactions during the weight loss process, such as imbalances in your body's systems, it's counterproductive. If the imbalance escalates to the point where you need to go to the hospital, it's even worse. Ideally, weight loss should lead to improved physical and mental health and well-being!

Show results as soon as possible

After a week of grueling dieting and exercise, losing only 100-200 grams is incredibly disheartening. With such unsatisfactory results, it's natural to give up.

This is because you chose an undesirable method. If the method is correct, losing one kilogram a week is not difficult. Of course, even if you choose a good method, if you can't stick to it consistently, or if you don't do it diligently, it won't be effective.

Spending should be reasonable

A week of weight loss and beauty treatments can cost tens of thousands, a half-hour massage can cost thousands, a carefully prepared diet meal can cost thousands... and so on. Such expenses are not affordable for everyone, and the results are not commensurate with the cost. It is highly doubtful.

It can be done easily

You can eat whatever you like and whatever you want without any restrictions. Satisfying your appetite can help you lose weight, which is not impossible. Conversely, can you really lose weight by enduring the pain of dieting and exercise? Weighing the two, the former is naturally the more ideal.

(II) Differences between types of people who are easy to lose weight and those who are not.

After introducing the various approaches above, I believe you will be able to find the most correct and suitable method for you among the many options.

However, it's important to understand that even with the right methods, human factors can cause a plan to fail during implementation. Everyone's personality, lifestyle, hobbies, and physical condition are different, so even the same thing can elicit different reactions.

Regarding human factors, I also conducted a small study, dividing people who want to lose weight into three categories based on their personality. Different guidance is provided for different types, which is an important point that cannot be ignored before starting a weight loss program.

Type A: People of this type are able to correctly understand the instructor's instructions and actually follow them.

Type B: People of this type will certainly follow what their mentors say, but they will quickly slack off if they are not careful. In other words, they have weak self-control and need someone to remind them from time to time.

Type C: This type of person understands what the instructor says, but their preconceived notions are strong. For example, the instructor might say, "If doing this exercise once a week can help you lose this much weight, then if I do it twice a week, won't I lose even more?" So they take it upon themselves to do it. The result? They might succeed, but the effect won't be good.

For Type C individuals, I have a principle: I make it clear from the beginning: "If you don't follow my instructions, I can't guarantee your weight loss will be successful. So, to avoid wasting each other's time, I think you don't need to participate." By stating the unpleasant truth upfront, I give them a heads-up, and after weighing the pros and cons, they'll be more likely to follow the instructor's advice. Of course, the more this type of person understands the situation, the more openly they'll accept guidance and actually implement the plan.

(III) As long as you are determined to lose weight, you will definitely succeed.

With enough perseverance, even an iron rod can be ground into a needle. This is not impossible, and the same applies to a weight loss plan. As long as you are determined and actually put in the effort, there is no reason why you cannot succeed.

A few years ago, I ran a weight loss program called "Help You Lose Weight." I prepared a 10-week weight loss plan. The first session had 26 participants, but one had to withdraw due to pregnancy, so a total of 25 people participated in my "Wada's Weight Loss Method." As a result, after 10 weeks, each of the 25 people lost an average of 12.4 kilograms, a very successful outcome.

When the second session started, even more people came, coming from almost every age and background. So I set several themes to cater to different people and their different goals, such as "restoring youth and health," "eliminating postpartum obesity," and "making you proud to wear a swimsuit," etc.

Targeting different goals, we help people challenge obesity. For example, Mrs. Kato, 33, originally weighed 67.3 kg, and after following the weight loss program, she reduced her weight to 57.3 kg. She had tried several weight loss programs before without success, but this time she was determined to stick to it, and she succeeded. Another example is Mrs. Kimura, 43, who weighed 72 kg and suffered from diabetes and high blood pressure. After ten weeks of training, her weight decreased to 59 kg. Even more excitingly, her previous ailments also lessened considerably, and she is much healthier than before.

This shows that while some physical ailments may not hinder your weight loss plan, some problems may even be caused by obesity. Therefore, once you successfully lose weight, your existing health issues will also disappear.

The students in the weight loss training class are the best proof. They were all originally obese, elderly, and weak people. After 10 weeks, not only did they lose weight, but they also became much more cheerful, healthier, and more outgoing. Some even had noticeably smoother and more radiant skin. Most importantly, these students all looked younger than before.

Once you are healthy, you can enjoy eating all kinds of food without worrying about overeating, because you have developed the habit of not eating snacks and only eating when you are hungry. This eliminates the problem of suppressing your appetite.

One of the trainees, a young woman, relaxed after nine weeks and ate a lot of cake, resulting in her weight gaining several kilograms quickly.

It is crucial to remember this: when implementing a weight loss plan, never assume that you have already lost weight and can eat and drink whatever you want without worry. In fact, doing so could very well undo all the progress you've made.

Basically, the Wada method of weight loss discourages the use of medication or any devices for weight loss. Anyone who is determined to lose weight can start at any time, and implementing this weight loss plan will not have any impact on their original life. This is the biggest feature of the Wada method of weight loss.
