[Selected acupoints]Tianshu to Guilai, Fuai to Fujie, Yinlingquan to Sanyinjiao, Geshu to Pishu, Xuehai to Sanyinjiao.

[Procedure] The patient lies supine. The practitioner holds a scraping board dipped in scraping medium and uses a balanced tonifying and reducing technique to scrape the patient's Spleen Meridian from Sanyinjiao (SP6) to Yinlingquan (SP9), Fujie (EX-HN1) to Fuai (EX-HN1) in a linear fashion from bottom to top; scrape the Stomach Meridian from Guilai (ST20) to Tianshu (ST25); and from Sanyinjiao (SP6) to Xuehai (SP10). The patient lies prone. The practitioner uses a balanced tonifying and reducing technique to scrape the Bladder Meridian from Geshu (BL17) to Pishu (BL20) from top to bottom; then focuses on scraping Zhongwan (CV12), Qimen (LR14), Neiguan (PC6), and Sanyinjiao (SP6). The procedure can be performed daily, and once the patient's weight has slightly decreased, it can be performed every other day. Significant results can be achieved after about one month of treatment.

[Fang Yi]When liver qi is stagnant and qi is not smooth, water and dampness cannot be transported and transformed, and phlegm and turbidity are generated, causing obesity. Qi is the commander of blood. When qi flows, blood flows. When qi stagnates, blood stagnates. Qi stagnation and blood stasis are often seen in female patients. Select the Ren meridian, spleen and stomach meridians, and back acupoints of the five viscera. Use the even tonification and sedation method to regulate the function of the viscera and promote qi and blood circulation, so that fat and phlegm can be transported and transformed. If accompanied by chest tightness, abdominal distension and bitter taste in the mouth, you can press and scrape the Zhigou and Neiting acupoints; if you are irritable and easily angered, you can press and scrape the Yanglingquan and Danshu acupoints. [Location of acupoints](1) Tianshu: In the middle of the abdomen, 2 cun away from the umbilicus.

(8) Yinlingquan: On the medial side of the lower leg, in the depression below and behind the medial condyle of the tibia. (9) Sanyinjiao: On the medial side of the lower leg, 3 cun above the tip of the medial malleolus, behind the medial border of the tibia. 4. Spleen and Kidney Yang Deficiency. [Selected Acupoints]Zhongwan to Shuifen, Qihai to Guanyuan, Fuai to Fujie, Yinlingquan to Sanyinjiao, Pishu to Guanyuanshu, Zusanli, Taixi, Shenshu. [Operation Method]The patient lies supine. The practitioner holds a scraping board dipped in scraping medium and uses the tonifying method to scrape from bottom to top along the Ren meridian from Guanyuan to Qihai, and from Shuifen to Zhongwan.

The tonifying method involves scraping the spleen meridian from Sanyinjiao (SP6) to Yinlingquan (SP9), and from Fujie (EX-UE1) to Fuai (EX-UE1) in a linear fashion from bottom to top. The patient lies prone, and the practitioner uses the tonifying method to scrape the bladder meridian from Pishu (BL20) to Guanyuan (CV4) from top to bottom; then, focus on scraping Zusanli (ST36), Taixi (KI3), and Shenshu (BL23). Note that the patient has a weak constitution, so the technique should be gentle, and petechiae should not be expected. Treatment can be performed every other day, not too frequently, and the patient is required to persist with treatment for at least two months. [Explanation] Middle-aged and elderly people often have spleen and kidney yang deficiency, insufficient primordial yang, slow metabolism, and are prone to internal blood stasis.

Select the Ren meridian, spleen and stomach meridians, and back-shu points of the five internal organs, and use tonifying methods to make the kidney qi abundant, the five internal organs healthy, and the fat and phlegm turbidity transformed. Taixi is the original point of the kidney meridian, and Shenshu is the back-shu point, which can replenish the original qi and enhance metabolism. If you feel cold and afraid of cold, and have cold pain in your waist and knees, you can press and scrape the Mingmen point; if you have clear and long urine and loose stools, you can press and scrape the Zhongji and Taibai points. Precautions for scraping for weight loss. 1. Before the procedure (1) Expose the skin before scraping, and the skin pores are open during scraping. If wind and cold evils are encountered, they can directly enter the body through the pores, affecting the curative effect of scraping and easily causing new diseases.

Therefore, before scraping, choose a well-ventilated treatment location and pay attention to keeping warm and avoiding drafts. In summer, scraping should not be done in a place with a draft. (2) Choose a comfortable position to facilitate scraping and prevent dizziness. (3) Scraping tools should be strictly disinfected to prevent cross-infection. (4) Before scraping, carefully check the scraping tools to avoid scratching the skin. (5) Before scraping, explain the general knowledge of scraping to the patient to eliminate their fear. (6) Do not perform scraping treatment when the patient is too hungry, too full, or too nervous.

During the procedure: (1) The scraping technique should be applied evenly, to the extent that the patient can tolerate, until petechiae appear. (2) The scraping technique for the elderly should be gentle and slow. (3) Do not use heavy techniques or prolong the scraping time in pursuit of petechiae. The amount of petechiae appears is affected by many factors. Generally, more petechiae appear in cases of blood stasis, excess, and heat; less petechiae appear in cases of deficiency and cold. (4) During the scraping process, the patient's feelings should be frequently asked.

If the patient experiences dizziness, fatigue, vertigo, paleness, nausea, vomiting, cold sweats, palpitations, cold limbs, or decreased blood pressure and coma, the scraping should be stopped immediately. Comfort the patient, help them lie down, keep them warm, and give them warm water or sugar water. 3. Postoperative (1) Scraping treatment causes the sweat pores to open, which consumes some of the body's fluids. Therefore, after scraping, drink a cup of warm water and rest for a while. (2) After scraping treatment, in order to avoid the invasion of wind and cold, you must wait until the skin pores close and return to their original state before you can take a bath, which generally takes about 3 hours.
